Ham radio logging software

Ham radio logging software

Many times you encounter a ham radio logging software but..which one is the most reliable, most common to find in our shacks? Which advantages, disadvantages have they got? Let’s review them one by one. I would like to start from a macintosh one:

MacLoggerDx

Organizing and filtering the spots from your favourite DX Cluster for DXing, Contesting or casual rag-chewing. MacLoggerDX supports up to hundred radios, automatically tuning to the spots you are interested in, swinging your beam around. Alerting you to rare contacts or Band Openings and looking up, displaying on 2D, 3D and Satellite Maps and logging your contacts to a super fast sql database. MacLoggerDX can also email you when the Bands are open or that rare DX is spotted. Awards Tracking, Band Activity, Schedules, Memories, QSL Generation, ADIF import, export, Club Log integration, eQSL, LoTW Confirmations.
I have been using this nice software since a long time now…and I believe it’s the best one for MAC computers among the ham radio logging software available. I would rate it 9/10
